Water meter housing
Sealing screw washer
Calibration Seal
Seal screw
Inlet filter
Non-return valve
This machine is designed and manufactured for the assembly of water meters. It works with a single operator and the parts are fed into the machine using the vibration feeding method.
Production is 490 pieces per hour
Step 1: Loading the components
The water meter housing is inserted into the machine by the operator. The housing is fixed with brackets.
Step 2: Positioning
The alignment of the housing is controlled by a sensor.
Step 3: Installing the sealing screw washer
The work station takes the sealing screw washer part from the vibration feeding system and directs it to assembly. The part is placed in the correct position using the automatic assembly mechanism.
Step 4: Installing the calibration seal
The workstation removes the calibration seal from the vibration feeding system. The seal is correctly positioned using the automatic placement mechanism.
Step 5: Installing the sealing screw
The workstation takes the sealing screw from the vibration feeding system. The screw is mounted on the water meter housing with the automatic tightening torque.
Step 6: Installing the inlet filter
The workstation removes the inlet filter from the vibration feeding system. The filter is placed in the correct position on the housing using the automatic assembly mechanism.
Step 7: Installing the Non-return valve
The work station takes the Non-return valve from the vibration feeding system. The valve is placed in the correct position using the automatic assembly mechanism.
Step 8: Unloading and transfer
A mechanical transfer system picks up the part and guides it to a conveyor belt.
Step 9: Cycle Repeat
3D models are prepared for presentation purposes to show the customer the main lines and operating principles of the machine during the quotation phase.
The product samples we receive from the customer are checked for dimensions and structure, the tolerances of the customer's production are measured, the first prototypes are designed and the designs are tested.
The final design process begins based on the information from the prototype studies of the products to be tested/assembled.
The machining of the designed parts begins and at the same time the machine elements are delivered. The machined parts are measured and sorted according to the material for coating. After coating, the parts together with the delivered machine elements are ready for assembly. The entire manufacturing process is carried out using external resources.
After assembling the coated parts, the workstations have taken shape. Now it is time to install the electrical and air installations.
The machine, with air and electrical installations provided, is put into operation for testing and fine-tuning. During this process, the basic software scenario and mechanical operations are observed and tested, and software improvements are made. Small errors missed in the design or modeling phase are quickly corrected in our own workshop.
